It sometimes seems that nothing lasts, that everything is just a meme of the moment.  This is a list of what we still have... things and ideas that have been around for a while.  There is no guarantee that these will be around “forever”, or that they will not soon change to the point of becoming unrecognisable, but at least they are with us as I type this.
